HKETO, Brussels supports Hong Kong cinema in the Netherlands (with photos)

     ​Together with Create Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels (HKETO, Brussels) supported the screening of Hong Kong films at the 15th CinemAsia Film Festival in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from March 7 to 12 (Amsterdam time). 

     HKETO, Brussels hosted a reception on March 12 before the screening of Philip Yung's "Where the Wind Blows", which was selected as the closing film of the Festival. Deputy Representative of HKETO, Brussels Mr Henry Tsoi, addressed guests at the reception. He said that the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government was committed to supporting the Hong Kong film industry and its talents, and highlighted that the city was increasing its role as a hub in Asia for East-West cultural exchanges. 

     The CinemAsia Film Festival is one of the largest and longest running Asian film festivals in Europe. With the support of HKETO, Brussels, three other Hong Kong films are being screened at the Festival, namely Eric Tsang's "Hong Kong Family", Sunny Chan's "Table for Six" and Matthew Chow and Toe Yuen's "The Great Detective Sherlock Holmes - The Greatest Jail-Breaker".
