Police National Security Department arrests one man and one woman

     The National Security Department of the Hong Kong Police Force today (March 11) arrested a 63-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man on Hong Kong Island for conspiracy to pervert the course of public justice.

     Investigation revealed that before Police officers’ search operation conducted earlier at a premise with a court warrant, the two arrested persons were suspected of taking away exhibits related to a “collusion with a foreign country or with external elements to endanger national security” case in an attempt to obstruct Police’s investigation.

     Two arrested persons are being detained for enquiries.
