United Nations Sanctions (Somalia) Regulation 2019 (Amendment) Regulation 2023 gazetted

"The Amendment Regulation amends the United Nations Sanctions (Somalia) Regulation 2019 to give effect to certain decisions on sanctions in the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2662, as modified by the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2664," a Government spokesman said.
The amendments mainly relate to prohibition against the provision of the technology required for the production or use of certain improvised explosive devices components; prohibition against the entry into or transit through the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region by certain persons; and certain exemption arrangements in respect of arms embargo and asset freeze.
