Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Hung Hom this morning (February 19) in which a 58-year-old man died.
At 8.27am, a private car driven by the 58-year-old man was travelling along Hung Hom Bypass southbound. When approaching a roundabout near the junction of Hung Hom Bypass and Hung Luen Road, the driver reportedly collapsed, and the private car lost control and rammed into a flower bed.
Sustaining no superficial injury, the man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 9.41am.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West is underway.
