Act now for SIM card registration

     Following the full implementation of real-name registration for pre-paid SIM cards, any unregistered SIM cards cannot be used after February 23. Users should therefore register as soon as possible to avoid any service impact.

     News.gov.hk spoke to Office of the Communications Authority Head (Market & Competition) Sidney Tsan to learn more about the implementation of the Real-name Registration Programme for SIM cards and he offered advice on how to make the registration process go smoothly.
