Suspected red tide sighted at Deep Water Bay Beach

Here is an item of interest to swimmers.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (February 13) that due to the sighting of a suspected red tide, the red flag hoisted earlier at Deep Water Bay Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island, because of sewerage works carried out near the beach, will continue to be in force until further notice. Beachgoers are advised not to swim at the beach.
