HKSAR search and rescue team found three survivors at Türkiye
     ​The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) search and rescue team went to the quake-stricken areas in Türkiye on February 8 to assist in the search and rescue work. The team successfully found three survivors on February 11.

     During a search and rescue operation in Hatay, the team successfully rescued three survivors trapped under about six metres of debris. The team then moved them to an ambulance.

     "We are very excited and encouraged to be able to find three survivors six days after the earthquake. The team will grasp every opportunity and do its best to find the remaining survivors," the Commander of the HKSAR search and rescue team, Mr Yiu Men-yeung, said.

     The team will continue to make every effort to conduct the search and rescue operations in Türkiye.
