Hospital Authority expresses profound sadness over passing of nurse in breakout of fire

The Hospital Authority (HA) spokesman made the following announcement today (February 10) on the passing away of a staff member in a breakout of fire:
The HA confirmed that a nurse of Queen Elizabeth Hospital passed away in a fire in Mong Kok this morning (February 10).
The HA Chairman, Mr Henry Fan, and the HA Chief Executive, Dr Tony Ko, expressed their profound sadness over the passing of the staff member and extended their deepest condolences to her family.
The Kowloon Central Cluster (KCC) has been in contact with her family and will make every effort to provide support to her family through tough times. The Critical Incident Psychological Service Centre of the KCC and the Oasis will also provide psychological support to colleagues in need.
