Police showcases professional and multi-faceted work at Education and Careers Expo (with photos)

     The Hong Kong Police Force is showcasing the multi-faceted and professionalism of its work under the theme "Serving Hong Kong with Honour, Duty and Loyalty" at the four-day Education and Careers Expo 2023 held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre starting today (February 2). The latest recruitment information will also be available at the Police recruitment booth.

     During the Expo, officers from different Police units and secondary duty cadres will introduce their areas of work and equipment to visitors. The participants can also take part in the Virtual Reality simulated Police firearms training. Officers of the Recruitment Division will be present to handle recruitment-related enquiries on site.
 
     The Commissioner of Police, Mr Siu Chak-yee, toured the booth this morning and invited visitors to join the Force.
 
     Demonstration sessions of various Police units are as follows:

February 2 (Thursday):
10am to 2.30pm – Force Escort Group , Counter Terrorism Response Unit, Police Dog Unit
2.30pm to 7pm – Emergency Unit, Narcotics Bureau, Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau

February 3 (Friday):
10am to 2.30pm – Police Tactical Unit, Technical Services Division , Quick Reaction Force
2.30pm to 7pm – Airport Security Unit, Family Conflict and Sexual Violence Policy Unit, Force Search Unit
 
February 4 (Saturday):
10am to 2.30pm – Force Escort Group, Weapon Training Division, Police Dog Unit
2.30pm to 7pm – Counter Terrorism Response Unit, Police Negotiation Cadre, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Bureau

February 5 (Sunday):
10am to 2.30pm – Emergency Unit, Force Rope Access Cadre, Police Dog Unit
2.30pm to 6pm – Force Escort Group, Marine (Small Boat Division), Airport Security Unit
 
     Members of the public who are interested in joining the Force as Probationary Inspector, Recruit Police Constable or Police Constable (Auxiliary) can submit applications on spot. University and post-secondary students can also submit on-site applications for joining the Police Mentorship Programme or Project ACHIEVE.
