Service adjustment for Mpox vaccination

The two designated centres that will cease operation are situated at 3/F, Yau Ma Tei Jockey Club Polyclinic, 145 Battery Street, Yau Ma Tei, and 7/F, Tang Chi Ngong Specialist Clinic, 284 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai. DH staff will call people with appointments to notify them of the adjusted vaccination arrangements. The booking and enquiry line (2547 1900) and booking email (mpv_booking@dh.gov.hk) for Mpox vaccination will also cease to operate.
Starting from January 30, high-risk target groups can receive Mpox walk-in vaccination at any one of the DH's six Social Hygiene Service Clinics (SocHS) (namely Wan Chai Male SocHS, Wan Chai Female SocHS, Yau Ma Tei Male SocHS, Yung Fung Shee SocHS, Fanling SocHS and Tuen Mun SocHS). Fees will apply for non-eligible persons. Meanwhile, the DH's Integrated Treatment Centre in Kowloon Bay, and the Hospital Authority's Special Medical Clinics at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital will continue to provide Mpox vaccination service for their clients.
The Mpox vaccination programme for high-risk groups (for group categories, please refer to the consensus interim recommendations) commenced on October 5 last year. As at January 16, 2023, more than 6 900 doses of vaccine were administered.
