Fatal traffic accident in Castle Peak

     Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident happened in Castle Peak in the small hours today (January 7), in which a 38-year-old male driver of a private car died.

     At 3.36am, a private car driven by the 38-year-old man was travelling along Tuen Mun Road towards Tsuen Wan. When approaching near the junction of Tuen Mun Road and Wong Chu Road, the private car reportedly lost control and rammed into a kerb.

     Sustaining no superficial injury, the male driver was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 4.40am.

     Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North is underway.
