Government to sell two sites by public tender

The two sites are Tsuen Wan Town Lot No. 427 at Po Fung Road, Tsuen Wan, New Territories, and Kowloon Inland Lot No. 11273 at the junction of Sai Yee Street and Argyle Street, Mong Kok, Kowloon. The tender invitation for Tsuen Wan Town Lot No. 427 will commence on January 13 and close on February 10. The tender invitation for Kowloon Inland Lot No. 11273 will commence on January 13 and close on February 24.
Tsuen Wan Town Lot No. 427 has a site area of about 8 360 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 17 520 sq m and 29 200 sq m respectively. Both exclude the gross floor area of Government Accommodation, being a 30-place supported hostel for mentally handicapped persons to be constructed by the purchaser under the Conditions of Sale.
Kowloon Inland Lot No. 11273 has a site area of about 11 537 sq m and is designated for non-industrial (excluding residential, godown and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area is 84 960 sq m and the maximum gross floor area that may be attained is 141 600 sq m. Both include the gross floor area of Government Accommodation, being a day care centre for the elderly, a neighbourhood elderly centre, an integrated children and youth services centre, an integrated community centre for mental wellness, a community hall, a public transport interchange and a public toilet but exclude the gross floor area of the public vehicle park, all to be constructed by the purchaser under the Conditions of Sale.
Land sale documents including the Forms of Tender, the Tender Notices, the Conditions of Sale and the sale plans of the two lots will be available for downloading from the LandsD website (www.landsd.gov.hk) from January 13, while the sale plans will be available for inspection by the public from the same day until the close of the tenders. The sale plans in hard copy form may also be purchased at the Survey and Mapping Office of the LandsD, 23/F, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong, from January 13 until the close of the tenders. The particulars of the tenders will be gazetted on January 13.
