The Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau (CSTB) announced today (January 6) the appointment of Mrs Margaret Leung Ko May-yee as the Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Arts Development (ACAD) and Miss Agnes Tang In-kwan as the Vice-Chairman. The CSTB also announced the appointment and re-appointment of members to the ACAD for a two-year term from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2024.

     The ACAD advises the Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism on matters relating to local arts development, including issues in relation to the operation of the Arts Capacity Development Funding Scheme, funding policies and strategies, issues in relation to the strategies for supporting the development of visual arts, the promotion of cultural exchange, the strengthening of cultural software, and other issues pertaining to the promotion of arts and culture in Hong Kong.
