Vacancy in Yuen Long District Council

     ​The Government declared by notice in the Gazette today (December 23) the existence of a vacant ex officio member seat in the Yuen Long District Council.

      The ex officio member, Mr Man Mei-kwai Jimmy, passed away on December 9, 2022. Pursuant to section 18 of the District Councils Ordinance (Cap. 547), his office has become vacant.
