A spokesman for the Education Bureau said today (December 16) that the Secretary for Education, Dr Choi Yuk-lin, and the Under Secretary for Education, Mr Sze Chun-fai, have been identified as a close contact of a positive COVID-19 case. They are undergoing home quarantine in accordance with the guidelines of the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health and will work from home during the quarantine period.

     Dr Choi and Mr Sze have been taking COVID-19 nucleic acid tests regularly. They obtained negative results after conducting a rapid antigen test today.
