Permanent Secretary for Environment and Ecology (Food) undergoing home quarantine

A spokesman for the Environment and Ecology Bureau (EEB) today (December 16) said that the Permanent Secretary for Environment and Ecology (Food), Miss Vivian Lau, is undergoing home quarantine in accordance with the guidelines of the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health, as a family member in her household has tested positive for COVID-19. Miss Lau will work from home during the quarantine period.

Miss Lau has been taking COVID-19 nucleic acid tests and rapid antigen tests regularly with negative test results obtained. She also tested negative after conducting a COVID-19 rapid antigen test today. She has worn masks and followed relevant disease prevention measures at work.
