Quotas filled for online registration sessions for activities of "Tan Dun's Sound Vision in Chi Lin Nunnery"

     All quotas for online registration sessions for activities of "Tan Dun's Sound Vision in Chi Lin Nunnery", namely "Purity . Transcendence" - Immersive Operas in the Courtyard of Chi Lin Nunnery (December 10 and 11), "Architecture and Music" (Talk and Demonstration) (December 4) and "Architecture and Music" (Demonstration and Dialogue) (December 7), have been fully taken up.
 
     To let more members of the public enjoy the immersive site-specific performance "Purity . Transcendence", the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) will arrange an online replay afterwards. Details will be announced in due course.
 
     Other spectacular activities of "Tan Dun's Sound Vision in Chi Lin Nunnery" include the "Sound Garden" and "Representation of Five Ancient Musical Instruments Depicted in the Dunhuang Murals" that will be held from December 3 to 11 (Saturday to Sunday) at Nan Lian Garden and the Xiang Hai Xuan Multi-purpose Hall.      "Tan Dun's Sound Vision in Chi Lin Nunnery" is part of the programmes celebrating the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). It is also under the exclusive sponsorship of the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC), and is one of the many initiatives supported by the HKJC's approved donation of $630 million to the Government of the HKSAR to mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR, demonstrating that the HKJC is resolute in pursuing its purpose of acting continuously for the betterment of society, all in support of creating stronger communities together.

     In order to comply with the requirements stipulated in the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F) and relevant requirements of administrative instructions, members of the public are required to scan the "LeaveHomeSafe" venue QR code with their mobile phones/other mobile devices before being allowed to enter the performing arts venues managed by the LCSD. In accordance with the Prevention and Control of Disease (Vaccine Pass) Regulation (Cap. 599L) and relevant requirements of administrative instructions, all persons entering indoor venues under the management of the LCSD must comply with the requirements of the Vaccine Pass. According to the latest requirements on the Vaccine Pass announced by the Government, all persons with their Vaccine Pass QR codes displayed in red or amber are not allowed to enter performing arts venues managed by the LCSD.
