Administrative Assistant to SCST tests positive for COVID-19

　　The Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau (CSTB) today (November 23) said that the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ms Winki Lam, has tested positive for COVID-19 through a nucleic acid test. She is undergoing isolation in accordance with the guidelines of the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health (DH).

　　Ms Lam last went to work yesterday (November 22). She wore masks and followed relevant disease prevention measures at work, including conducting daily rapid antigen tests. She has no recent travel history.

　　The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Kevin Yeung, and the Under Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Raistlin Lau, have been taking COVID-19 rapid tests every day and the results are all negative.

　　The CSTB will conduct thorough cleaning and disinfection operations at the relevant offices, arrange for relevant staff members to undergo COVID-19 tests in accordance with the advice from the CHP of the DH, and continue to implement disease prevention measures vigorously.
