Holding centre at Harbour Road Sports Centre to commence operation on November 25

The holding centre at Harbour Road Sports Centre will receive elderly COVID-19 patients who are asymptomatic or showing mild symptoms. With 130 beds, the centre provides basic meals and nursing support without charge. The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon, will form a care team to provide temporary care services at the centre, while Quality HealthCare will provide medical support. The SWD expresses gratitude to the teams for providing care services and medical support to the centre.
The SWD will continue to monitor the epidemic situation and make adjustments to the use of isolation/quarantine facilities in accordance with the advice given by relevant bureaux and departments.
