TD launches Annual Traffic Census 2021 interactive website

     The Transport Department (TD) today (November 16) launched the Annual Traffic Census (ATC) 2021 interactive website (atc.td.gov.hk), which enhances public access to the traffic flow data and public transport statistics published by the Government.

     The interactive website provides a more helpful map-based graphical interface with a quick search engine enabling users to retrieve annual average daily traffic, traffic flow variation and growth, and the traffic characteristics of the road network in the territory easily.

     It also has clear dashboard analysis and presentation for various statistics such as the distribution and length of trafficable roads, passenger journeys between the major public land transport modes and vehicle registration and licensing, and interactive data visualisation for annual average daily traffic as well as vehicle classification and occupancy.

     Professionals and the general public can make use of the data for traffic and transport analyses, and for developing innovative and information technology applications, so as to further promote smart city development.
