United Christian Hospital appeals to public regarding absconded patient

The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority.
       
     The spokesperson for United Christian Hospital made the following appeal today (November 15) regarding a patient leaving the hospital without notifying hospital staff:
 
     A female patient, after triage and assessment by a doctor, was found to have left the hospital without notifying staff while awaiting further consultation at the accident and emergency department at around 6.30am today.
 
     Upon discovering that the patient left without prior notification, the hospital deployed security guards to search for the patient within the hospital compound and the vicinity, and called the Police for assistance. The hospital is very concerned about the incident and will fully co-operate with Police to locate the patient.
 
     The patient is about 1.6 metres tall, has a heavy body build with dark short hair. According to CCTV footage, she was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, pink trousers and white shoes. She boarded a minibus and left the hospital.
 
     The hospital appeals to the public to contact the hospital at 3949 4002 or the Police if they know the whereabouts of the patient.
