Oi! public project raises awareness of air pollution problems (with photos)

     Co-organised by Oi! and Clean Air Network, the "ON AIR" project, which aims to raise public awareness of air pollution problems, will hold a participatory exhibition and interactive installation at Oi! in North Point from November 13 to December 11 to enable the public to explore how they can make use of creativity and collaboration to reduce air pollution.

     The interactive installation "Dusts -free- Chambers" created by Austria-based artist and architect Adam Hudec will be on display at Oi! Garden. The installation will give visitors an unusual sensual experience by providing a pollution-free environment without any dust, mites, microbes or human-made deposits. The exhibition at Oi! Garden and Oi! Glassie ground floor aims to enable the public to understand the close relationship between air quality and their daily life, learn more about the impact of air pollution and ways to improve air quality.

     Oi! is located at 12 Oil Street, North Point. In order to comply with the current requirements stipulated in the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F) and relevant requirements of administrative instructions, visitors are required to scan the "LeaveHomeSafe" venue QR code with their mobile phones/other mobile devices before being allowed to enter the museums under the management of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). In accordance with the Prevention and Control of Disease (Vaccine Pass) Regulation (Cap. 599L) and relevant requirements of administrative instructions, all persons entering indoor venues under the management of the LCSD must comply with the relevant requirements of the Vaccine Pass. According to the current requirement on the Vaccine Pass, all persons with their Vaccine Pass QR codes displayed in red or amber are not allowed to enter museums under the management of the LCSD.

     From November 17, patrons, including holders of an amber code, will need to use the "LeaveHomeSafe" mobile application to scan the venue QR code and comply with the Vaccine Pass requirements to enter the premises.
