Briefing session on "Youth Hostel Scheme - Subsidy Scheme for Using Hotels and Guesthouses as Youth Hostels" to be held next Wednesday

     The Home and Youth Affairs Bureau (HYAB) will hold a briefing session on the "Youth Hostel Scheme - Subsidy Scheme for Using Hotels and Guesthouses as Youth Hostels" at Auditorium, G/F, Central Government Offices, Tamar, Hong Kong, at 4.30pm on November 16 (Wednesday) to provide more details for owners/operators of hotels or guesthouses and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) that are interested in joining the scheme.
 
     The Government announced in "The Chief Executive's 2022 Policy Address" that it would expand the Youth Hostel Scheme by subsidising NGOs to rent suitable hotels and guesthouses for use as youth hostels, with the target of providing about 3 000 additional hostel places within five years.
