Director of Lands tests positive for COVID-19

     A spokesman for the Lands Department said today (November 11) that the Director of Lands, Mr Andrew Lai, has tested positive for COVID-19 through a rapid antigen test. He is undergoing isolation in accordance with the guidelines of the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health.

     Mr Lai wore masks and followed relevant disease prevention measures at work. He has no recent travel history and last went to work yesterday.

     The department will conduct thorough cleaning and disinfection operations at the office concerned and will continue to implement disease prevention measures vigorously.
