Severe Tropical Storm Nalgae situation report (2)

     The Hong Kong Observatory replaced the No. 8 Northwest Gale or Storm Signal by the No. 8 Northeast Gale or Storm Signal at 8.40pm today (November 2).

     The Home Affairs Department has so far opened 26 temporary shelters in various districts and 75 people have sought refuge at the shelters.

     As at 8pm today, the 1823 Government Call Centre has received nine reports of fallen trees. No reports of landslide or flooding have been received so far.
