Permanent Secretary for Health undergoing home quarantine

     The Health Bureau today (October 29) said that the Permanent Secretary for Health, Mr Thomas Chan, is undergoing home quarantine in accordance with the guidelines of the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health, as a household member was tested positive for COVID-19 through a rapid antigen test. Mr Chan will work from home during the quarantine period.

     Mr Chan has been taking COVID-19 nucleic acid tests regularly. His test result with sampling done yesterday (October 28) afternoon was also negative. He has been wearing masks and following relevant disease prevention measures at work.
