Housing Authority wins nine awards at HKIH Elite Awards 2022 (with photo)

The following is issued on behalf of the Hong Kong Housing Authority:
 
     The Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) won nine awards at the Hong Kong Institute of Housing (HKIH) Elite Awards 2022. The result is encouraging. The HA estate management teams have upheld the principle of providing quality estate management services throughout the years, and will continue to strive to provide better living environments for residents.
 
     The HKIH Elite Awards 2022, organised by the HKIH, was themed "Uplift Professionalism Under New Normal" to illustrate that the rampant COVID-19 epidemic and frequent information exchange have brought a new normal to the working environment of the housing management sector. A spokesman for the HA today (October 26) said, "Since the pandemic began, our teams have made concerted efforts and adopted flexible and appropriate measures to implement anti-epidemic operations in public housing estates, thereby safeguarding the health of our residents while striving to maintain quality estate management services."

     "The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges and an overwhelming workload to estate management staff. Nevertheless, the teams responded promptly and showed a strong sense of commitment in performing duties persistently. The awards recognised the professionalism of the estate management teams, and brought great motivation to our colleagues in continuously improving service quality and building a highly efficient team," the spokesman said.
 
     The HKIH Elite Awards was launched in 2020 with a view to recognising the professionalism and outstanding achievements of local housing management individuals and teams. There are five award categories, namely Outstanding Manager, Outstanding Officer, Outstanding Team, Best Crisis Management Team and Best Innovative Idea.
