LWB driver tests positive for COVID-19

The Labour and Welfare Bureau (LWB) today (October 7) said that a driver of the LWB had undergone a rapid test and the result was positive for COVID-19.

The driver is responsible for driving duties for the Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr Chris Sun. He does not need to have contact with the public and has no recent travel history. He wore masks and followed relevant disease prevention measures at work. He last performed duties today.

Mr Sun has taken COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction-based nucleic acid tests at work every day and the results (including today) are negative.
