Tender awarded for site in Tuen Mun

The Lands Department announced today (October 5) that the tender for a site, Tuen Mun Town Lot No. 561 at Castle Peak Road-Tai Lam, Tuen Mun, New Territories, has been awarded to the highest tenderer, Great Rainbow Investments Limited (parent company: CK Asset Holdings Limited), on a 50-year land grant at a premium of $4,601,000,000.

The tenderers, other than the successful tenderer, in alphabetical order, with the name of the parent company where provided by the tenderer in brackets, were:

(1) Century Ace Development Limited (Henderson Land Development Company Limited);
(2) Dynasty Rise Limited (Sino Land Company Limited);
(3) Grand Build Development Limited (Grand Ming Group Holdings Limited); and
(4) Topco (H.K.) Limited (Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited).

Tuen Mun Town Lot No. 561 has a site area of about 33,713 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum gross floor area is 72,821 sq m and the maximum gross floor area that may be attained is 121,366.8 sq m.
