Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident happened in Wong Tai Sin last night (September 30) in which a 57-year-old man died.

     At around 10.50pm, a taxi driven by the 57-year-old man was travelling eastbound along Lung Cheung Road. When approaching a slip road of Lung Cheung Road, the driver collapsed suddenly, and the taxi reportedly lost control and rammed into barriers and then a slope.

     Sustaining no superficial injury, the man was rushed to Caritas Medical Centre in unconscious state and was certified dead at 11.41pm.

     Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East is underway.
