Murder in Yau Ma Tei

At 4.02am, Police received a report that a man was attacked by several men with knives at the junction of Jordan Road and Parkes Street.
Police officers sped to the scene and found a 35-year-old man lying unconscious on the floor. Sustaining multiple injuries, he was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in unconscious state. He was certified dead at 4.35am.
A softball baton in suspected connection with the case was seized on Chi Wo Street.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased.
Active investigation by the District Crime Squad 3 of Yau Tsim District is underway. Anyone who witnessed the case or has any information to offer is urged to contact the investigating officers on 3661 9245.
