Appointments to RTHK Board of Advisors announced

      The Government announced today (August 26) that the Chief Executive has re-appointed Dr Lam Tai-fai as the Chairman of the Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) Board of Advisors (BoA) and re-appointed nine incumbent members. He has also appointed Mr Stanley Choi Tak-shing, Mr Hsu Hoi-shan and Mr Hendrick Sin as new members. The new BoA will serve for a term of two years with effect from September 1, 2022.
 
     The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Algernon Yau, said, "I am grateful that Dr Lam and nine incumbent members have accepted the re-appointments to continue serving on the Board. They have provided invaluable advice to the Director of Broadcasting and contributed positively towards RTHK's achievement of its public purposes and mission as set out in the Charter of RTHK."
 
     Mr Yau also welcomed the new members who are joining the BoA, adding that they would facilitate the work of the BoA with their professional knowledge and rich social experience.
 
     Mr Yau thanked the outgoing members, namely, Ms Helen Kwan Po-jen, Mr Augustine Wong Ho-ming and Professor Wong Kam-fai for their contributions during their tenure.
