Tropical Cyclone Ma-on roundup

     As Tropical Cyclone Ma-on is moving away from Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Observatory issued the Strong Wind Signal No. 3 at 9.20am today (August 25). It replaced the No. 8 Southeast Gale or Storm Signal issued at 1.40am today.
 
     The Home Affairs Department has opened 31 temporary shelters in various districts and 141 people have sought refuge.
 
     As at 9am today, the 1823 Government Call Centre has received four reports of fallen trees. The Drainage Services Department has confirmed one flooding case. No reports of landslide have been received.
 
     According to the Hospital Authority, as at 7.30am today, one person has been injured during the typhoon period and received medical treatment at the Accident and Emergency Department of a public hospital.
