Health Bureau officer tests positive for COVID-19

The officer is the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary for Health. He wore masks and followed relevant disease prevention measures at work. He has no recent travel history and last went to work on August 9.
The Secretary for Health, Professor Lo Chung-mau, has been taking COVID-19 rapid tests every day and the results are all negative.
The Health Bureau has conducted thorough cleaning and disinfection operations at the relevant offices, and has arranged for relevant staff members to undergo COVID-19 tests after consultation with the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health.
