EEB officer tests positive for COVID-19

The officer is the Press Secretary to the Secretary for Environment and Ecology. She wore masks and followed relevant disease prevention measures at work. She has no recent travel history and last went to work on August 12.
The Secretary for Environment and Ecology, Mr Tse Chin-wan, has been taking COVID-19 rapid tests every day and the results are all negative.
The EEB has conducted thorough cleaning and disinfection operations at the relevant offices, and has arranged for relevant staff members to undergo COVID-19 tests in accordance with the advice from the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health.
