The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Kevin Yeung, today (July 18) congratulated Hong Kong billiard sports athlete Cheung Ka-wai on winning a gold medal for Hong Kong in the Men's Snooker event in the World Games 2022.
 
　　Mr Yeung said, "Cheung Ka-wai performed at his best and demonstrated the demeanour of a great athlete. I am so glad and proud of his achievement and sincerely congratulate him."
 
　　The World Games 2022 features 33 events. A total of 17 athletes from Hong Kong are taking part in this year's games, competing in eight events.
