ICAC Statement

The following press release is issued on behalf of the Independent Commission Against Corruption:

     The ICAC was informed yesterday (July 10) evening by a member of the public who reportedly attended the Commission's Open Day yesterday morning and was later tested positive for COVID-19 using Rapid Antigen Test. The case has yet to be confirmed by the Department of Health (DoH).
      
     The participant concerned reportedly attended a 105-minute guided tour at 9am yesterday. The Commission is looking into the matter and will take appropriate follow-up action in accordance with advice from the Centre for Health Protection.
      
     According to the latest anti-epidemic guidelines issued by the DoH, all participants of the ICAC Open Day are required to use the LeaveHomeSafe mobile application (except for exempted persons) and fulfill the Vaccine Pass requirements when entering the ICAC Building. During their visit, participants are required to wear a mask, maintain proper social distance and refrain from eating and drinking. Disinfection of the exhibition venue is also carried out regularly.
