​The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Kevin Yeung, today (July 9) extended his congratulations to Hong Kong karate athlete Grace Lau on winning a bronze medal in the Women's Kata event in The World Games 2022.
      
     Mr Yeung said, "Having achieved outstanding performance in a number of international sports competitions in recent years, Grace has excelled again at The World Games 2022 this time and won a bronze medal. We share her joy and take pride in her. I also wish the Hong Kong athletes remarkable performance in the other matches of The World Games."
      
     The World Games 2022 features 33 events. A total of 17 athletes from Hong Kong take part in this year's games, competing in eight events.
