Fatal traffic accident in Central

At about 1.30pm, a motorcycle driven by the 40-year-old man was travelling along Garden Road towards Central. Upon reaching the slip road leading to Upper Albert Road, it reportedly crashed into railings, lost control and side-turned.
Sustaining serious multiple injuries, the man was sent to Ruttonjee Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 2.08pm.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island is underway.
