ITIB officer tests preliminarily positive for COVID-19

The officer is the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry. He usually works in the office, and wore masks and followed relevant disease prevention measures at work. He has no recent travel history. He last went to work today.
The Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, Professor Sun Dong, has undergone a nucleic acid test and the result is negative.
The ITIB has conducted a thorough cleaning on the floor concerned and arranged relevant staff members to undergo COVID-19 tests in accordance with the advice from the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health.
