President Xi attends dinner at Government House (with photos/video)

     President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan attended a dinner hosted by the Chief Executive, Mrs Carrie Lam, at Government House this evening (June 30).

     Greeting them on arrival were Mrs Lam and her husband Mr Lam Siu-por, as well as the Chief Executive-elect, Mr John Lee, and his wife Mrs Janet Lee.

     After arriving in Hong Kong this afternoon, President Xi met with Mrs Lam and members of the executive, the legislature and the judiciary, as well as representatives of the disciplined services and people from various sectors. He visited the Hong Kong Science Park while his wife visited the Xiqu Centre of the West Kowloon Cultural District.
