Police today (June 28) reclassified a wounding case happened in Tin Shui Wai on June 25 as manslaughter.

     At 9.07pm on June 25, Police received a report that a man was assaulted and injured on Tin Shui Road. Police officers sped to the scene and found the 63-year-old man with head injuries lying unconsciously on the ground. He was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 3.34pm today.

     District Crime Squad of Yuen Long District took over the case. A 61-year-old man in suspected connection with the case was arrested for manslaughter in Tuen Mun yesterday (June 27). Initial investigation showed that the deceased had a dispute with the 61-year-old man and was suspected to be assaulted and pushed to the ground.

     Active investigation by the District Crime Squad of Yuen Long District is underway.
