Assessment Committee for the Funding Scheme to Support Transitional Housing Projects by Non-government Organisations convenes meeting

     A meeting of the Assessment Committee for the Funding Scheme to Support Transitional Housing Projects by Non-government Organisations, chaired by the Under Secretary for Transport and Housing, Dr Raymond So Wai-man, was convened via video conferencing this morning (June 28). 

     The Assessment Committee agreed to subsidise the following transitional housing projects:

(i) Transitional housing development at the former Shuen Wan Eu Tong Sen School by the Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong. With total funding of $154.965 million, it is expected to provide 276 units; and

(ii) Transitional housing development at Caroline Hill Road, Leighton Road and Haven Street, Causeway Bay, by Centre Stage Squarer Limited. With total funding of $6 million, it is expected to provide 30 units.
