President Xi Jinping will attend a meeting celebrating the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland and the inaugural ceremony of the sixth-term government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). The secretaries of departments, deputy secretaries of departments and directors of bureaux of the sixth-term government today (June 25) jointly extended their warmest welcome and deepest gratitude for the President's attendance.

The officials remarked that the next five years will be a crucial time for Hong Kong to advance from stability to prosperity. The President's attendance of a meeting celebrating the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland and the inaugural ceremony of the sixth-term HKSAR government fully shows the importance that the Central Authorities attaches to the HKSAR and the hopes for its future development, giving tremendous confidence in the governing team of the sixth-term government.
