A spokesperson for the Marine Department (MD) today (June 24) said that the Director of Marine, Ms Carol Yuen, was identified as a close contact after assessment conducted by the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health as a friend of hers had tested positive for COVID-19 through a nucleic acid test. She is undergoing quarantine in accordance with the guidelines of the Centre for Health Protection.

     Ms Yuen has taken COVID-19 rapid antigen tests regularly with negative test results obtained. She also tested negative after conducting a COVID-19 rapid antigen test today.
