The Government announced today (June 24) the appointment of Mr Victor Chu Lap-lik and the reappointment of Ms Shirley Chan Suk-ling as members of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council for a term of two years with effect from July 1, 2022.
      
     Meanwhile, incumbent member Mr Andrew Weir will retire from the Council upon completion of his term on June 30, 2022. A spokesman for the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau expressed gratitude to Mr Weir for his devoted services and contributions towards various aspects of the Council's work in the past six years.
      
     The composition of the Council with effect from July 1, 2022, is as follows:
