​A Government spokesperson today (June 21) said that the Director of Chief Executive's Office, Mr Chan Kwok-ki, and the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development (designate), Mr Algernon Yau, were identified as close contacts after the assessment conducted by the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health as the wife of Mr Chan and a friend of Mr Yau had tested preliminarily positive for COVID-19. Both are undergoing quarantine in accordance with the guidelines of the Centre for Health Protection. 

     Mr Chan and Mr Yau have regularly conducted COVID-19 rapid antigen tests, with negative test results obtained. Both also tested negative after conducting a COVID-19 rapid antigen test today.
