In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, the State Council, on the recommendation of the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Mrs Carrie Lam, decided on April 7, 2022, to remove Mr John Lee from the post of Chief Secretary for Administration.
