Staff of Yau Tsim Mong District Health Centre Express test positive for COVID-19

     The Food and Health Bureau said today (March 7) that four staff members of the Yau Tsim Mong (YTM) District Health Centre (DHC) Express tested positive for COVID-19. The staff, including a worker, an administrative assistant, a nurse and a social worker, work in the core centre of the YTM DHC Express on 12/F, Pioneer Centre, No. 750 Nathan Road, Prince Edward, Kowloon. All four of them last came to work in the core centre on March 3 and had been wearing masks and following relevant disease prevention measures at work. 
      
     The core centre has been mainly providing tele or online services these days. Members who visited the core centre on March 3 will be contacted for any necessary follow-up.

     The core centre has been closed today and will not reopen until March 10 so as to conduct thorough cleaning and disinfection in accordance with guidelines issued by the Centre for Health Protection, the Department of Health. Other staff are arranged to undergo COVID-19 testing.
