The Labour and Welfare Bureau (LWB) today (March 7) said that a secretary has tested positive for COVID-19 after a rapid test.

     The secretary is responsible for providing secretarial support to the Under Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr Ho Kai-ming. She does not need to have contact with the public in performing her duties and had no recent travel history. She wore masks and followed relevant disease prevention measures when at work. She last performed duties on March 1.

     The LWB will conduct thorough cleaning and sterilisation at the workplace concerned, and has arranged for relevant staff members to undergo COVID-19 testing.
